Tenses & Pronoun

Posted by Ratu mefi on 22.10 in
Simple Present used to express the idea that an action is repeated or usual. The action can be a habit, a hobby, a daily event, a scheduled event or something that often happens. It can also be something a person often forgets or usually does not do.
Examples:
  • I am a student of Gunadarma University
  • We are very busy today

Simple Past used to express the idea that an action started and finished at a specific time in the past. Sometimes, the speaker may not actually mention the specific time, but they do have one specific time in mind.
Examples:
  • My uncle went to Bogor yesterday
  • Last week I visited my friend

Simple Future Tense is used to refer to actions that will take place after the act of speaking or writing. Simple Future has two different forms in English: "will" and "be going to." Although the two forms can sometimes be used interchangeably, they often express two very different meanings. These different meanings might seem too abstract at first, but with time and practice, the differences will become clear. Both "will" and "be going to" refer to a specific time in the future.
Examples:
  • Next week we will visit Bali
  • Mazzi and I will go to concert tonight

Pronoun is a word that replaces a noun in a sentence. Pronouns are used so that our language is not cumbersome with the same nouns being repeated over and over in a paragraph.
Examples :
  • That
  • My self

Singular Noun is a noun that refers to only one person, one place, one thing, or one idea
Examples :
  •  Me
  • Him

Plural Noun is a word that indicates that there is more than one person, animal,  place, thing, or idea.
Examples :
  • Us
  • Them

I Scream For Ice Cream

Posted by Ratu mefi on 22.01 in
Ice cream ohh ice cream how could you taste so sweet. I always scream when I look at you anywhere, even when I see my friend posting your desireful picture on social media. Strawberry is such my favorite ice cream, that’s something really sweet and fruity. It is so yummyyyyyy…  I think, all of ice cream flavors are so nice but strawberry is best to my tongue. I loved ice cream since I was a child. Some people said I was childish cause I love ice cream so much but I don’t mind it. Ice cream doesn’t made only for child, right?

Now, green tea and matcha ice cream is really happening in Indonesia. And shockingly, green tea is on ice cream now. We all know green tea is just a tea right? But you should’ve known that actually this green tea has been a Japanese’s culture for many centuries and not just on ice cream but they put it on any dessert. And I thought that I need to try it as soon as possible. So I went to some dessert house to tried it and I really Love it. Green tea ice cream is so smooth in my mouth and makes me feel relax. Anyway, green tea ice cream also will be my second favorite ice cream.

Honestly, it’s a little bit hard to find Ice cream store that has green tea flavor, but now Walls Ice Cream has “Green Tea Cornetto Mini” for us. So you can find it easily on the super market, and I have a place recommendation for it, that is the “Igloo Ice Cream”. I often be there because they have a super delicious ice cream also the place is such a comfortable to hang out, low price and perhaps because this place is the nearest ice cream place from my home. It’s in Jatiwaring, Pondok Gede. You can find it on your waze. Hahaha *big laugh*

And I have one more recommendation for all of ice cream lovers. It’s “Lin Artisan Ice Cream” that located in Kemang, South Jakarta. Lin Artisan Ice Cream is the first ice cream store in Indonesia that uses liquid nitrogen to freeze all the ingredients. They also uses fresh and natural ingredients with no preservatives, no unnatural colorings and unnatural flavorings. Each cup of ice cream is made to order on the spot so there is an option of less sugar or less cream it’s all up to us guys. With liquid nitrogen, the texture of the ice cream is so smooth and no ice particles are formed because of the quick-freezing method. Moreover, all of it’s recipes are gathered from an Italian gelato shop which has a long history in ice-cream making, as we know how popular the Gelato is.
